Project Assistant in Albuquerque, New Mexico: Assist with the following: Set-up of projects in the applicable cost management system. Analyzing and monitoring project health in the internal cost management system and assist in compiling report findings. Project scheduling activities and deliverables. Maintenance of the budget tracking system and reporting project status. Process project change orders. Enter changes to the cost reports. Monthly project analysis reports. Enter project scheduling information. Quality assurance on data and information for the project financial deliverables. Work Breakdown Structure for tracking the breakdown of purchase orders and subcontracts. Organize and maintain project files and client deliverables and project communications. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports. Planning, coordinating, and facilitating on-site and off-site meetings for the project/ program. This may include project orientation and training, stakeholder meetings, team meetings, periodic reviews, etc. Develop and refining procedures pertaining to internal project requirements.
Bachelor’s degree required and 2 years’ experience in a related field.
Experience with one or more cost management systems preferred.
Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within an organization.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and
PowerPoint is required.
Travel: Yes – up to 30% of the time for local travel throughout New Mexico. Expectation is to be on site in New Mexico daily.
